DoneDrop

Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 23, 2026

DoneDrop helps people build daily discipline, capture proof moments, and share selected progress privately with trusted buddies. This policy explains what data we collect, why we use it, and the controls available to you.

Information we collect

We collect account information such as email address, display name, username, authentication identifiers, profile settings, and subscription entitlement state. We collect app content you create, including habits, tasks, completion logs, proof moments, captions, buddy requests, friendships, chat messages, reactions, and notification preferences.

If you use proof capture or media upload features, DoneDrop processes photos or videos you choose to create or upload. If you enable notifications, the app stores reminder settings needed to deliver them. We also receive diagnostic and analytics data such as crash reports, device information, app version, and basic usage events to keep the app reliable.

How we use information

We use data to authenticate accounts, sync your habits and proof moments across devices, show private buddy feeds and walls, send reminders you enable, process buddy requests, support subscriptions, prevent abuse, diagnose crashes, and improve reliability.

Sharing and visibility

Your proof moments are private by default. If you choose a friends or selected-buddies visibility option, DoneDrop shares that moment only with the people allowed by that setting. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

DoneDrop uses Firebase and Google services for authentication, database storage, media storage, analytics, crash reporting, and app distribution. Store purchases are processed by the relevant app store billing provider. These providers process data according to their own terms and privacy practices.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. Access rules are designed so users can read and write only the data they are allowed to access. No online service can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we use reasonable safeguards for the app's scope.

Data retention and deletion

You can request account deletion from inside DoneDrop. Deleting your account removes your profile, habits, personal proof moments, buddy graph data, and related app data, except records we must retain for legal compliance, fraud prevention, billing, security, or abuse handling.

Children

DoneDrop is not intended for children under 13 and is not designed as a child-directed service.
